Pre-K

Welcome to Coldwater Elementary School First Class Pre-K Program! Our two pre-k classrooms are funded through the Alabama Department of Early Childhood Education's Office of School Readiness (OSR). Each class has two teachers who all work together in order to provide an inviting environments and hands-on educational experiences by using the Alabama 

Standards for Early Learning and Development, gaining skills in the following domains: social-emotional, physical, language, cognitive, literacy, math, science and technology, social studies, and the arts. Families receive valuable information regarding their preschoolers progress through our three checkpoints during the school year along with support to advance them from current levels to reach their potential. We look forward to serving our pre-k families and joining alongside them on their child's educational journey.
